Hawaii 2011

.Hiding in the luggage, back at home, waiting for Dad to get the car...

Hanging Loose at Duke's

A room with a view...

Boy Uncle iSean is nice - letting Lexi decorate him with stickers and Dora glasses...

The night that Grandma (memaw) got there! Soooo excited!

We ended up at a restaurant that had a gorgeous view, they gave us a great table and then we found out ... they bring you your meat raw and you have to grill it yourself. This was definitely a forced smile, but he did a fantastic job of grilling (as usual).

First night in Waikiki - Lexi was so excited about the stars - "So high I can't reach them!"

At the airport - holding on to her handle, so she wouldn't lose us!

The post is a little late! But still wanted to share a fantastic vacation with you!!! We celebrated Grandma Mary's 65th birthday with a week in Hawaii. We went the last week of October and it was incredible weather and not too crowded.

Happy Halloween!

Brendan was our other kind of SuperHero - Beerman! At the last minute he decided to throw on a "costume" and dress up with us!

Her Very FIRST Trick Or Treating!!!

Lexi, Madi and Mason (or Madisason as she calls them) were waiting patiently for the big kids to break open the pinata.

Lexis was the first to swing at the Pinata... And she definitely would not do it with the blindfold!

I was supposed to wrap her like a mummy - looks a little more like a toga!

Matching Kitties

What a great day! We went to a small neighborhood "carnival" with games for the kids, pizza and fruit and then a little group Trick or Treating. We only did a few houses (how much candy does an almost 3 year old really need?) and then Lexi handed out candy when we got home. True to her nature though, she was asleep by 8pm! But she got to sleep in her kitty cat costume (minus the skirt).

Apple Hill - October 2011

This one!

Mymaw, Daddy and Lexi did the Hay Maze - I stayed back just to make sure they didn't get lost!

And of course APPLES! That is what Apple Hill is famous for

Searching for just the right pumpkin! Mymaw and Lexi, hunted one down.

Mommy in a pumpkin too...

Lexi in a pumpkin

She definitely wasn't too sure about feeding the cows or goats, but she liked to look at them!

She looked so small compared to this big tractor

We started off with some face painting. Lexi waited in line VERY patiently and never once wavered, she really wanted "aloons on my face."

Welcome Fall! Grandma (Mymaw appears to be what Lexi is calling her these days) came to visit for a weekend. Up to Apple Hill we went! What a great day...

Uh Oh! I didn't go soooo fast when I had jeans on - these microfiber sweats are Slippery!

Getting ready to go down that slide!

Cherries!

The view of from within our campsite

Garlic bread - yumminess!

Spaghetti dinner - and yes, that is a trash bag Lexi is wearing...

The fencing to let cows know their boundries, was broken and they invaded HWY 1 - WHAT A SITE!!!!!!!!

We are so lucky to have found a group of friends, that like to go camping... we are three couples. The Kenny's in their 30's with a toddler, the McBeth's in their 40's with two teen's and the Patterson's in their early early early 60's with grown children our age, and grandkids of Lexi's age. We have a blast together. This is our 3rd year at the Gualala River Redwood Campground.
