We (Brendan and Laura) came across this last night and decided we really wanted to share it with our friends and family, in hopes that it will help to increase awareness of adoption terminology, not just for Lexi but for all kids! It is a quick read, with some good humor - after you read it, you can share the information when you hear others talking about adoption.

Fourth of July, 2010
After the Mardi Gras Party on the 3rd... we headed home to our friends house for the 4th of July. And in true Lexi fashion, at 7:45 PM she insisted "bye bye, nigh night." This kiddo plays hards and sleeps hard!

Well... So this was July 3rd 2010... I wish I had more pictures, especially of the birthday girl, but was soooooo busy hosting and lifeguarding, just didn't happen! Happy birthday Leigh Ann!
